Two Days, Six People, and One Surprise Downpour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The plan was straightforward. Lay a fresh pebble-wash surface along the front ledge, refinish the ceramic display pots, clean the signature black-and-white diamond floor tiles, and line everything up properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the plan didn’t account for was Bali’s weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first morning, the crew had barely finished pressing the white aggregate into fresh cement when the sky opened up without warning. Work stopped. Everyone waited under the overhang, watching the rain sheet across Seminyak’s main street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
